The LBIC Engineering Group was founded in 1961 by Mr. Murari Lal Dhanuka in Howrah which was the heart of Melting and Processing units of ferrous based industries in the then India, by setting up a small pneumatic forging and fabrication unit. In true sense, he started it from scratch. But his quest and untiring efforts to set an example of excellence, has brought the group to currently being a leading and preferred supplier for Indian Railways (IR) as well as OEMs.

Today, the group has in its fold multiple manufacturing facilities spread over the entire Industrial belt in the state of West Bengal, India.
